Hey, I'm doing a project for YCN on copyrighting films and I wanted to get a discussion flowing on whether people agree or disagree with this?
I'm creating a campaign called 'Be A Star' and it is allowing you to get involved in learning about the creative side to a film, how it was made and how you can make a difference, instead of just watching it.
Everyone knows that downloading media is illegal because we've been told in various ways, but instead of strictly informing about the bad side of this, I want to involve the pubic with the creative side of the production and increase their knowledge on how the films are created and who by - then you can leave with whatever opinion you have about copyrighting.
My opinion is against copyrighting because of the production team behind the films. They've worked really hard to create the films that we all love, for someone to come and sell it as their own. They're not getting paid, therefore films aren't getting made, so everyone's eventually going to lose out.
But I want to know what you think about the idea of the campaign launch, good or bad opinions. Just be open and honest! Thank you for your time!
